IS EVERYTHING 100% NATURAL?

Absolutely! Everything that is made by The Oily Lady is 100% natural and has been made with main ingredients that are derived from the earth.  Our products contain non-comedogenic agents and will not add to your breakouts by using fillers.  Our products are rich and pure. 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF MAKING THIS GOODNESS?

The making is the best part!  Every single product is my personal formulation.  All of our products are made in small batches with the best of ingredients.  Each and every ingredient that goes into our products is researched and tested extensively.  We pride ourselves on offering products that are easy on the wallet but super effective on your skin issues!  Batches of products are made weekly, and each one goes through different phases to create the goodness.  Then they are bottled, labeled, and shipped directly from our in home lab!

WHAT IS YOUR RECOMMENDED SKINCARE REGIMEN?

Everyone is different. If you visit the skincare menu, you will find our recommended routine for your skin type. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message and we will be happy to help you out!

I JUST ORDERED! WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We pride ourselves on creating fresh, handmade, artisan products, but please take some things into consideration when ordering from our handmade shop!  Your order could take up to 7 days to process.  We make small batches of fresh products weekly, and processing time depends on if you ordered a product that was already ready on our shelves or if we are currently making it to bottle.  We only make small batches due to the preservation process.  Not a single one of our products contains a chemical preservative.  This means it has a short shelf life of 3 months-a year (products vary).  So, we do not make products ahead to sit on our shelves.

You will receive a completed order status once we have boxed up your order to be shipped.  Upgrading your order to Priority does not shorten the processing time, but the time it takes to ship from us to you.  First class orders generally take a 3-5 days to receive, while Priority orders take 2-3 days depending on your location from us.  We are in the shop 8-5, Monday-Friday, and do not work or ship on Saturdays or Sundays.

Please be sure that the address you entered when checking out is correct, and if you notice a mistake please let us know ASAP.  Unfortunately, we cannot combine orders or give partial refunds on shipping to combine orders once your order has been placed.

If you have noticed that your ordered says it hasn't been scanned, please know that it does take the system a day to catch up OR that the USPS simply did not scan our package.  They are notorious for this.  If you have a concern with receiving your order, please contact us. 

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY NUT, GLUTEN, OR MILK PRODUCTS?

Each product is listed with all of the ingredients, and yes some of them do.  Please check the listing for ingredients to ensure it doesn’t contain anything you are sensitive to.

WHAT BRAND OF ESSENTIAL OILS DO YOU USE?

We purchase our oils through a distillery located right here in North Carolina.  We do not use a brand name of oils that anyone is familiar with.  We try to use as many local resources as possible so that we are in turn funding our small town.  We order some of oils up to 8 oz. at one time.  They are as pure as pure can get, and very effective.

DO YOU ACCEPT PRODUCT RETURNS?

Unfortunately, no.  Since we are a small business and due to the nature of the products, we cannot accept returns.  If you have an issue with your order please get in touch with us!  We would be happy to speak with you about your concerns.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

We apologize for any misunderstanding with your order.  We cannot refund your canceled order, but we can give you a gift card with the full amount of your purchase to use at a later date.
